Premiership : Liverpool v Tottenham Hotspur

Looking ahead to Liverpool’s clash with Tottenham Hotspur, the Spur’s manager Poyet commented that the only way their club could stop superstar striker, Luis Suarez if he gets the flu the night before the match and has a fever.

The Uruguayan is in top form this season – and is likely to be voted the best player of the year by everyone.

Suarez is the top goal scorer this season in the Premiership and only one goal away from becoming Liverpool’s top goal scorer in a Premier League season.

“Without Suarez, they would probably be in mid-table,” said Poyet. “The tactic will be to take him to the spaces in which he doesn’t like to play. But Luis always manages to get out of those places, he never plays in the same way and there isn’t a magic way to stop him.”
